I decided to leave all my job and all I did for Insex to the guys  in the name of friendship. Even I feel very tied to a project that I created and that I contributed to raise, there aren’t the conditions to keep on work together anymore.  I will keep to be the producer of the album anyway: the first Insex LP will be released by Miraloop Hearts in August. Hugs and kisses to all the fans and enjoy with “Inside, Insane, Insex”, the first and the last Insex album with Dragonfly touch!

After the Serata “Verso Tasso”, and the performances of the scores of the Finalists, the Palazzo del Majno International Prize is proud to announce that about the 2010 edition of the Prize, the WINNER of the commission for the composition of the opera “Torquato Tasso” is Maestro PAOLO INGROSSO. M.° Ingrosso will write the entire Opera during next year together with Cesare Lievi as a librettist. The Jury decided to confer a commission to write a Symphonic-vocal piece on Maestro GIAMPAOLO TESTONI as a Special Prize. Congratulations for both of them from the Jury and the Direction of the Prize, which also wish to thank all of the participants for the very high quality of their scores. The next edition of the Palazzo del Mano International Prize will be announced soon.

Today Christian Carlino aka DeLord, following the success of 22 concerts all over Italy in one year, signed with Miraloop ♥ Hearts for his first album.

This is a funny story, because we planned this collaboration many times ago, but the marriage between Miraloop and Christian couldn’t be done before this moment. How to describe this guy? His nickname DeLord, an italish joke choosen by himself to show – ironically – his Naif way in beeing “a Lord”, is perfect. He plays piano, makes visual performances, writes books of poetry, everything in a original and  istinctive way, that made him loved by many people all around the world. Artistic production team of ♥ Hearts have changed him, showing in what he’s able to do in the entire work: writing and singing songs, combining these skills in order to create a real and original pop music project, joining the ♥ Hearts’ roster of crazy artists, rockers and electro-pop bands.

M. : You discovered Miraloop at the beginning of label’s activity, end of 2008, why does your first album coming just now?

C.C. : Because now I’m ready to do it. I met the label when I was the keyboards of DNR band, and I found in Mira’s artists so much energy… something very rare today in our country. Artistic, revolutionary, a bit crazy but…perfect for me:  guys are able to create “something” from “nothing”, in music as the artists features. When the diaspora in the DNR band begun(the music producer Gerolamo Sacco and the singer Mantis Le Sin at one side, the other guys at the other side), I found out I was working for the wrong dream.
“No Regrets for everything that I’ve done” but now I’m happy in following my Naif way!
Anyway thanks for both sides!

M: Do you think your music have changed in working with us?

C.C. : Yes, now I found the way to share my feelings with the audience, I’m ready to focus on my real project as I wanted to do.
“Sognare” is a photography of myself and I did it for myself, but I couldn’t keep walking this way for all my artistic life, even if thousand of people appreciated my first auto-production. Now you’re going to see a new DeLord, combinig visual feature (as in DNR) with the guy who plays piano in theatres. Just give me your ears and your eyes, I’ll show you… but I don’t wanna tell you more right now. It will be a surprise.
I also asked to Mantis Le Sin to perform a song with me… He joked about me (as usually) and said “Yes! Do you wanna also me to clean up your fuc***house?” So…get ready !

M: Should we expect a new look?

C.C. : Yes, my look changes as my music do! You saw 2 versions of myself: a funny J-Rock style and the “deep” me, now I’ll show you MY own visual style. But don’t worry, I won’t leave home my not-pair-colour Converse !!

M: when will the new album coming?

C.C. After my  single release….. I have a song I care to play first, something I wrote when I was with my ex band…

“InSide, InSane… InSex!”

After the success of Mantis The Sin in his previous band, Miraloop decided to continue the collaboration with him. Making his new plan become reality, we have accepted the decision of Mantis to form a line up of his best friends. With the will to fight what he calls a “musical business offce”, and to do it with humor, skills, and irreverence. “****! Now the band seems to consist of good looking employees thrown on stage from the dining hour break, all too tied to the rules of music business… now I want to have fun. Enjoying and finding pleasure in what you are doing always works. A band actually becoming successful is rare, but having fun while you are doing it is a success.” says Mantis. So now the singer brings together five different characters, each from a different musical world and each of which represent a little animal. With that… InSex is born, which mischieviously stands for “insects”. The team consists of: Mantis The Sin – vocals, obviously the praying mantis. Gerolamo Sacco – electronics, dragonfly, style dandy and the former producer of DNR who has left his usual position on the mixer in the studio to now perfom on stage. Alex Torchia – drums, spider, metal old school. Vigos – guitar, scorpion, an indie rock personality. Mist Savage – bass guitar, beetle, the vampire dark. InSex will be presenting their first single called “InSex me…” which contains two tracks – “Pray to me” and “Like Me”. The genre? It has a particular alchemy of styles, sometimes experimental and orignal. Perhaps this style is too immature to have an identifying name, but we are sure that you’ll choose the best name for InSex’s style.

“Inside, Insane… InSex!”

The after DNR period is not lucky for Mantis Le Sin: after the breaking with Do Not Reanimate (now called Dreams Not Reality) was forced for the second time in stop the recordings of the debut single of his new band due to a vocal cords problem. These days the singer will undergo a delicate operation and it seems difficult to imagine a return in the studio, because it’s possible that Mantis will be forced to flee the scene, if not permanently, for a long period. The singer’s new band has just signed with Miraloop, and the label decided to continue with recordings and acting positively, sure that their leader will be back soon, microphone in his hand, to give voice in this new and bizarre project of the Italian scene .
Training, name, gender, style of this new band is still shrouded in mystery. According to the information leaked out, it appears that Le Sin, having past disputes with the DNR, has introduced into the new line-up his dearest friends.
All the Miraloop staff wishes to Mantis a speedy recovery.

Bologna, 09 Novembre 2009. Mantis interrompe le registrazioni negli studi Miraloop: Le Sin va operato.

Il periodo post DNR non è davvero tra i più fortunati per il cantante Mantis Le Sin. Dopo la rottura con i Do Not Reanimate (ora ribattezzati Dream Not Reality) ha dovuto interrompere per la seconda volta le registrazioni del singolo di debutto della sua nuova band a causa di un problema alle corde vocali.
Nei prossimi giorni e il cantante subirà un delicato intervento e pare sia difficile ipotizzare una data di rientro in studio, pare anzi che vi sia la possibilità che Mantis sia costretto ad abbandonare la scena, se non in maniera definitiva, per un lungo periodo.
La nuova band del cantante ha appena firmato con la Miraloop e ha deciso di proseguire con le registrazioni e di agire in maniera positiva, sicura che presto il loro leader tornerà, microfono alla mano, a dare voce in questo nuovo e bizzarro progetto della scena italiana.
Formazione, nome, genere, stile di questa nuova band rimane ancora avvolta nel mistero. Secondo l’unica informazione trapelata, pare che Le Sin, viste le controversie passate con i DNR , abbia introdotto nella nuova line-up i suoi più cari amici.
